Overture

Overture explores modern residential interior design on a dramatic scale in Kennewick, Washington. Strata Interior Design brings warmth to soaring ceilings and black-framed windows through rift-cut oak, tactile finishes, and layered lighting. Reflective surfaces and sculptural fixtures give the entertaining spaces a distinct architectural presence.

The design considers lighting as part of the architecture, using statement fixtures and integrated illumination to give definition to the ceiling planes and gathering spaces. In the primary suite, the same attention to material and light creates a more intimate atmosphere.
